• Improved Handling and Durability: The one-inch diameter top rail makes it easier for rescuers to carry the litter for extended periods during an evacuation. Additionally, the Durathene™ netting eliminates the risk of cuts and scrapes caused by broken wires, ensuring rescuer safety during patient transport.

• Sturdy Design for Patient Comfort: The molded, high-density polyethylene back support provides superior durability, while the steep-sided design allows for a narrower litter while still accommodating standard-sized backboards. This design offers better support for the patient during transport.

• Maneuverability in Confined Spaces: The narrow width and rounded ends of the litter allow for greater maneuverability in tight spaces, which can be critical in many workplace accidents. This makes it easier to extract an injured worker from a confined area.

• Secure and Protected Attachment Points: The patented StratLoad™ Attachment Points are a unique feature of this litter. These attachment points allow any size carabiner to be used for attaching a lifting bridle while keeping both the carabiners and the bridle on the inside of the litter’s top rail. This provides several safety benefits:

  • Protects carabiners and bridles from abrasion during transport, especially when navigating rough surfaces.
  • Prevents cross-gate and side loading of carabiners, ensuring proper load distribution and minimizing carabiner failure risk.
  • Orients the direction of pull along the carabiner’s spine, where it is strongest.
