The Skedco Sked® Basic Rescue System is a rugged, versatile patient transport and extrication system designed for confined-space, high-angle, technical, and land-based rescue operations. Its proven design provides excellent patient protection while allowing rescue teams to maneuver through tight, difficult, and demanding environments.
Constructed from durable plastic, the Sked® wraps around the patient and becomes rigid once packaged, creating a secure protective platform for transport. Its flexible design makes it particularly effective for confined-space extrication while still providing the capability for horizontal and vertical hoisting when properly configured.
For convenient transport and storage, the stretcher rolls into the included Cordura® backpack. The complete system weighs approximately 17 lbs., providing rescuers with a portable solution that includes the essential components needed for a wide variety of rescue applications.
